Important Weather Information

For passengers flying TO Sun Valley

If weather conditions restrict service into Sun Valley, SkyWest will do everything possible to route customers directly to Twin Falls where, depending on road conditions, complimentary ground transportation to Sun Valley will be provided.

Luggage will be loaded directly from the aircraft to the bus and will be available for passenger claim at the Sun Valley Friedman Memorial Airport. The drive to Sun Valley is approximately 1 1/2 hours and passengers will be dropped off at the Sun Valley airport.

For passengers flying FROM Sun Valley

If weather conditions restrict service out of the Sun Valley Friedman Memorial Airport, SkyWest has an alternative plan designed to keep outbound customers on schedule.

Please follow the steps below:

• Call the Winter Operations Hotline
  (208.788.4887) 3 1/2 hours prior to scheduled departure time.
  
  
• If ground transportation is necessary, passengers must check in at Sun Valley Airport at least 3 hours prior to their original flight time.
  
  
• Passengers will be transported to Twin Falls (75 miles south) and luggage will be checked through to their final destination.
  
  
• Upon arriving at the Twin Falls airport, checked baggage will automatically be boarded. There is no need to check in at the counter at Twin Falls.
