Friedman Airport Security
In accordance with federal law, access to the Friedman Memorial Airport, Airport Operations Area (AOA), Secure Identification Display Area (SIDA) are controlled by an Airport approved, Airport Identification Badge (AIB).
The Friedman Memorial Airport is required by federal law to issue Airport Identification Badge(s) based on an operational ligament need. The established designated “Authorized Signatory Authority(s)” must make a formal request for access. Users/applicants are required to complete an Airport Identification Badge application; pass all required background assessments, and complete mandatory training prior to the issuance of the Airport AIB.
The FMA Airport Security Coordinator is responsible for the day to day management of security related duties to include AIB issuance, AIB annual and bi-annual audits, training, and record keeping. Please direct all questions relating to AIB issuance to the Airport Security Coordinator or Alternate Security Coordinator at 208-788-4956.
