Air Service Studies: Studies in Progress

Small Community Air Service Development Program

The SCASDP is a grant program designed to help small communities address air service and airfare issues and is managed by the Associate Director of the SCASD under the of Office of Aviation Analysis. The FMAA has submitted an application for fiscal year 2013 in hopes of increasing eastern connectivity through an additional nonstop hub providing much needed air service to key eastern airports not currently served through Salt Lake City such as Washington-Dulles, New York, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Columbus and others. The FMAA would also like to provide additional frequencies to current destinations as well as lower airfares to top eastern destinations.
